Description

This is a bicycle tour along a well marked, paved, easy waterfront trail.  Bring your own bicycle.  The 1000 Islands are recognized around the world. There are 1,864 islands located in an 80-kilometre (50-mile) stretch along the St. Lawrence River between Canada (Brockville to Kingston, Ontario) and the United States (New York State). That’s a lot of islands, and a never-ending canvas of interesting views for you to enjoy at 10:30 am.  We will cycle for 25 – 30 km and then stop for lunch.  We commence again on the return trip of the same length and expect to be back at the start for 3:30 to 4:00 pm.

As we observe the waterfront, we can imagine rowing along the shore and into the safe harbours in coastal boats.

Physical distancing must be observed.

Bring you own bike, lunch and water.
