The first row of the season in quads will be on the picturesque Lower Trent River starting where Carmel Road (out of Stirling) meets the backwash channel around Wilson Island.  We stop for a lunch at Glen Ross Lock Station, and row down to Frankford.

Participation is restricted to members of OAR and all COVID guidelines in place at the time must be followed.  Based on our knowledge of Ontario’s Step 2 plans, we assume that quad rowing will be allowed at this time.  We will use stable touring boats which are much safer than racing shells in open water during the day.

Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.  There will be a BBQ at Arnold’s farm east of Frankford on the Frankford Road after the row.

Fee:  $65 includes boat rental and transport, Trent-Severn Waterway fees, and BBQ costs.  To pay please use interact e-transfer to Richard Vincent at vincric@rogers.com.  Please also e-mail the signed registration form to Richard at the same time.
