The Rideau Lakes tour is officially cancelled for the 2020 season due to the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic

May 23-24, 2020

Registration deadline is May 4th

Kick off the 2020-touring season with a two-day outing on the beautiful Rideau Lakes.

Chaffey’s Lock will be our launching point. We’ll wind our way through lakes and marshes above and below the lock, always on the look out for wildlife: birds, fish and …. to be discovered!

Saturday overnight accommodation is arranged at Simmons Cottages, which are located at Chaffey’s Lock and come equipped with full kitchens.  To keep things simple – and ensure you’ll have the diet you row best on – we ask that you provide your own breakfasts and lunches.

* Note: Overnight accommodation at The Opinicon is an option this year.  For more information, see the “Accommodation” section below.

On Saturday night, your hosts will provide a tasty buffet dinner of delicious delights.  Some beer and wine will be available; however, you may prefer to bring your favourite!

Please join us for this early season tour!

Note:  All participants are encouraged to assist with coxing duties.
